Did I mention I'm getting into the cooking thing?

I think I mentioned a few weeks ago...well actually a month ago...that I'm starting to enjoy cooking. Yesterday I made kick-ass Gyro's thanks to Good Eats. I should have taken a picture. They were good. So good that I ate two when I should have only eaten one.

School is going well. Summer Session 1 ended and Summer Session 2 began last week. Got an A for the first session and don't expect any less for the second. I'm going to try an apply for a position of a lab assistant in the fall. If I got it it would be something to help pay for school. Anything is better than the student loans. I won't know anything for a while. The professor is waiting for his grant money to be finalized before he hires any assistants.

In the meantime, my creative energies seem to be more in the kitchen than on paper or a computer screen. I think that will change in the fall when I'll be back to taking some art classes.

In the meantime I'm killing time between classes in the library.
